History:

Neem a versatile tree of Indian origin. Since ancient times, it’s various plant parts have been used to control domestic insects, stored grain pests, crop pests and human and livestock medicines. Besides, the present day pesticides (insecticides, fungicides, weedicides, nematicides, acaricides) and N fertilizers pose several problems viz. environmental pollution and related health hazards in human and livestock, development of resistance to pesticides and death of beneficial insects. Introduction:

Neem Jeevan Triguard is an environmentally safe and eco-friendly bio botanical pesticide. Derived precisely and technically from “Nimbolies”(fruits of Azadirachta indica) locally Known as Neem. It contains 60,000 ppm Azadirachtin (neem’s main active compound) maintained at Accurate level based on HPLC assay. Azadirachtin is one of the most powerful and safest natural bio-molecule as pesticide. It’s significant mode of action is the only alternate to eradicate the pest problem. The application of NJTG at early stage of pest’s life cycle can result in deformed adults with reduced longevity and fecundity. NJTG also causes deformity or hormonal imbalance in pests and checks emergence into next stage of life cycle leading to formation of larval-pupal or pupal-adult intermediate or deformed adults. This deformed development effect of NJTG is due to impact on bio-chemical Imbalancing and endocrinal disruption in pests/ insects.

Neem Jeevan Triguard has been evaluated to control Heliothis armigera Hubner and was found to have controlled 100% in one generation with nil adult emergence (male), it surely has proven itself as the solution to the helicoverpa family menace. For effective control of Heliothis at any instar larval or pupal stage, Neem Jeevan Trigaurd has been found to be highly effective in combination with NPV(nulclear polyhedrosis virus) of heliothis armigera.


Mode of Action:

NJTG is a novel combination of all biologically active compounds of neem, which are chemically diverse and structurally complex. The presence on bio-molecules mainly Azadirachtin in large concentration makes NJTG more promising in action and covers wide range of insects/pests. NJTG is already geared with triple action, systemic action, contact action (on insect/pest) and anti-pathogenic action. It is a very broad spectrum and as per studies of NJTG it covers effectively more than 350 species of insects in India belonging to 10 main different orders viz. Orthoptera, Dicpyoptera, Lepidoptera, Hemiptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Isoptera, Siphonptera and Thysanoptera. NJTG is very effective in all stages of life cycle of insect/pest. The mode of action of insect/pest are through anti-feedant activity, insect growth regulation(IGR), detterant action, interruption in reproduction, ovicidal effect, larvicidal action, strong repellent action and overall toxicant to harmful insects/pests. NJTG disturbs the complete bio-chemical chain of reaction in insect/pest and fungitoxic effects on pathogens , it creates unfavourable conditions for pest / pathogens survival.



Method of Application:

   

  1. Shake the bottle of NJTG well before use.

  2. Prepare a mixture of water and NJTG in the ratio of 150 ml. NJTG with every 100 Litres of water.

  3. Use 250 ml./acre of NJTG for effective and optimum control of pest and pathogens.

  4. Spray the ready solution well over the leaves and stems of plants/crop till the plant or crop is fully drenched.

  5. NJTG may also be used in combination with commonly used bio or synthetic insecticides/ pesticides or use NJTG intermittently for definite improved results.

  6. Use NJTG early morning or after sunset to avoid ultra violets and to get better results.
